Tia and Kai a nice couple

Tia and Kai have come into rescue through no fault of there own due due to a relationship breakdown where there mum has had to go into a flat. Idealy we would like to rehome them together,


White Tia is 4yrs old and said not to be good with other dogs and wary of people she does not know.

Kai we are told is good with other dogs and people on and off the lead, we also have been told that Kai has when he was younger lived with a cat
We wiil update when we know more about them.

Tia and Kai have now been walked on three occasions with other dogs. They are good on the lead and so far Tia has not shown any signs of not being good with other dogs. Fearful of people she clings to Kai for support but on Tuesday, just our third venture out, she greeted us and couldn't get in the van quick enough!

Tia's confidence in people is really beginning to show now. She no longer runs away when we go to put a lead on, she's there waiting and can't wait to get in the van for the walk in the local park with Kai and Shine. She now loves to be groomed and no longer flinches when you touch her rear end with the brush, Kai is his usual laid back self and loves the attention. She had a routine check up this morning at the vets and was extremely good, although she didn't much like where he was going to put his thermometer! Handsome pair

I went to the kennels at Birchwood this morning and met these 2 guys, what a pair of good natured dogs they are,I felt guilty leaving them there had I had space at home for them they would have been in the back of my van.
